Over the last couple of months, I have been involved with helping to coordinate a service project. A prerequisite for graduating from Union University is to serve the community through an approved service project. Our cohort discussed a few alternatives and decided to do something for the Dream Center of Jackson, TN. As of this writing, we have put in about 60 total hours to clean, repaint, and beautify the children’s playroom and replace a bathtub in a room that was previously unusable. Upon replacement of the tub and doing the needed grouting, caulking, and tile work, this room can now be opened up for a new family to move in and utilize the space. In all, we had 15 adult college students to participate in the project. Below are a few photos taken during the process of completing this project.

Seasons
These verses from Paul to Timothy say a whole lot. However, I want to focus on this one phrase… “be ready in season and out of season.” Read the full verses below: Now, let’s think about it simply. Power in Prayer

Honoring Dr. Abraham
Last night, our diverse gathering group of believers honored a dear friend, Dr. Santhosh Abraham. Recently, he was honored by Union University as the “Carla D. Faith and New Life, Crystal Morrison
Earlier this week, I went to the funeral service of my cousin, Crystal Morrison. Even though she and I were from very different generations and not especially close, her passing hit me hard. Her father (Keith Doyle) and I were very close when we were young. During those early days, he and I were often…
