Here are a few pictures taken at the national Czech Baptist church last night. A few of our Roma friends were present to give testimony about how Jesus changed their lives. They will be baptized soon. This was a wonderful experience and you could sense the emotion in their voices as they talked about their salvation experience. May the Father be glorified through their witness… amen.

Last night, I went to visit my friends at Poplar Heights Baptist Church. I have been blessed to develop a great relationship with their pastor, Richard Bragg (April, his wife, too). He and I have a lot of common ideas and thoughts about faith and church-life. We also share what I would say is an…

FamFun in Brownsville
There is nothing quite like a well appointed mancave. Over the weekend, we had the opportunity to visit my sister and her husband for a game night. We do this now and again and it is always a good time. Zbo and Tracy live close to Brownsville and Zbo’s mancave has a pool table, TV,…

Saying Goodbye in Greece
Right at the end of our overseas term with IMB, we had the opportunity to spend some time in the area close to Athens, Greece. The occasion was a big “company” meeting where many many workers gathered for a season of renewal and refocusing. This was a nice experience in some ways and a sad…

Remembering Don Hale
My friend and brother in Christ, Don Hale, left this troubled world on November 5th, 2022. I am confident that he is now smiling and singing in a new, glorious world that is often referred to as the New Jerusalem. Heaven, if you will. At Don’s “Celebration of Life” service last evening, I heard many…

Bus Trip 2024 – Day 7 – Badlands
On this leg of the trip, we visited the Badlands which is really… wide open spaces and mostly destitute (other than the prairie dogs that occupy portions of it). Wide open spaces… into the Badlands
