Dawn had an interesting opportunity to travel with a couple of other missionary ladies on a day trip to Poland to visit Auschwitz Concentration Camp. Actually there were three camps under the Auschwitz system which were run by the Nazis during World War II. This was the first time that Dawn has had such an opportunity to visit with other missionary ladies on a “girls day out” so to speak. When they arrived there, it was sort of fitting that the atmosphere was dreary and cold and rainy. She tells me that the tour of the facility was very enlightening and gave her a fresh perspective on the atrocities which were carried out there by the Nazis.
