Happy Mother’s Day to all the ladies who might be reading this little blog post and have given birth to precious children who are part of His creation. Today, rather early in the morning, I was blessed to have an opportunity to join a prayer-line with a large group of CME brothers and sisters from Tennessee and Arkansas. Bishop Henry Williamson and Dr. Williamson (his lovely bride) led the group. Several others participated. Forgive me for not remembering all of their names. Dr. Lavern Bell-Tolliver introduced me around 6:30am and I shared a few moments about ways we have collaborated with their West Tennessee churches. Such as:
Of course, there is a lot more to this partnership, but I will stop for now and simply say that God is a GOOD and colorblind GOD in the sense that He loves all His children… red and yellow, black and white, we are ALL precious in His sight! Partnerships like this one with the CME churches and CEF show the world that – when we want to – we can join together for the good of our communities and the upbuilding of the Kingdom of God, Amen.
