It was a rainy day when we ventured to Prague to visit with our company friends at Stromovka Park in Prague. We knew that there might be a chance of a shower or two but we decided it was worth the drive with the hopes of visiting with some company folks… and we hoped to talk shop just a little bit. We were unfamiliar with the area of town where the park and meeting place was… but thanks to our trusty friend, Garmin… we made it there early. Unknown to us, the picnic and gathering got cancelled due to the dreary weather and cooler temps. When we found out, we decided to eat at the restaurant and afterwards we were invited to share some coffee and conversation with the Hatchell family. This was worth the trip and it was nice to get to know them a little better and remind them of how we first met… so long ago, in 2001. Anyway, here are just a few pictures that I took in the park.

Remembering Don Hale
My friend and brother in Christ, Don Hale, left this troubled world on November 5th, 2022. Bus Trip 2024 – Day 1 & 2
I’m finally getting around to posting a recap of the vacation that Dawn and I enjoyed a few weeks ago. We went on another “seniors” bus trip, this time, to the Midwest, and it lasted a bit over 8 days. So, since I would like to post a lot of pics, I’ll break up this…

The Power of Corporate Prayer
As I start writing this blog post, I have a Maranatha Praise Band (Promise Keepers) song playing in my head… “If my people, called by my Name… will humble themselves and pray…” Maybe you have heard this song? If not, visit this link to listen if you would like to. It will put you in…
Local Missions – CYIA ’23
I am a missionary at heart. Even after years of ups and downs and round and rounds, that is still the calling God has placed upon my heart. He gives Christians purpose and direction in this life. Granted, it is not always an easy thing to submit to His wooing or step onto the path…
Leaving the Comfort Zone
This morning was one of those glorious uncomfortable mornings. I mean, the type of morning when you decide to step out of your comfort zone – intentionally – and stretch your spiritual boundaries. Let me explain further. I was asked to visit, once again, the local gathering of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International….
