The title of this article / gallery is what we should strive for… right? Working together for the glory and honor of God through His only son, Jesus. In this panoramic photo, you see a small but devoted group of Jesus followers, Roma men and women seeking to help grow the church, three Czech believers who desire to help with the ministry, a few rowdy children who we ultimately had to ask to leave because of their disrespect, and I was behind the camera… an American missionary who is also trying to help the overall effort of building a healthy church in Brno. Please continue to pray for the mission church which meets at Armada Spasy in the Roma community of Brno. Honestly, we have seen many struggles and people who seem to want the church to fail but with the help of God and cooperation between all of us… Roma, Czech and American… we sincerely desire to see God grow and strengthen this church so it will be a bright shining light for Jesus in Brno… amen.

Creation Museum Getaway
Earlier this week, Dawn and I took a little trip to Kentucky to the Creation Museum. This trip had two purposes. One was to simply get away for a few days for some R&R. The other reason was to celebrate Dawn’s birthday. If you don’t know this about my dear wife, she was born on…
A Thankful Heart

Bobby Says “Armor-Up”
Last night at the Gathering, our brother, Bobby Lewellen, shared the Word with us. His focus came from Ephesians 6:10-18 and a discussion about the armor of God. He also touched on some verses in Matthew to start his devotional thoughts. I would sum up Bobby’s message as an encouragement to put on the full…
A Witness to History
A few weeks ago, I attended the “swearing in” of Mr. Arthur Boykin as the first African-American mayor of Humboldt, TN – my hometown. I love Humboldt and I felt it appropriate to witness this event first-hand. The occasion was filled with energy and anticipation. I arrived at the Humboldt Hospital Conference Center about 20…

If you have never visited a Sight and Sound Theater, you really should try to do it sometime. Dawn and I watched the presentation of…
