I was blessed to be a small part of helping with the “Worship Under the Stars” weekend here in Jackson, TN. My part was in helping to gather and transport some of our Mission Jackson kids to some of the events. Some of our younger MJ kids came on Saturday to enjoy some music and fun geared toward their age group. Sunday evening was a different scenario. We invited some of our older MJ kids to hang out with us and then enjoy KB in concert. KB is a Christian rap star. He did an awesome job sharing his testimony and music. You will see a photo gallery below of different aspects of this special weekend.
Saturday night, Travis Cottrell directed a large choir and Pastor Jordan Easley preached the Gospel. Both of these men are Englewood Baptist Church ministers. Sunday morning came together with sunny skies to witness hundreds of people gather to worship the Lord in song and Word. Pastor Jordan again brought the Word and several souls came into the Kingdom. We also baptized a bunch of folks during this special service. The salvation of souls is the main thing. May the Lord continue to bless the efforts of Englewood Baptist Church, its leaders, and various ministries… amen.
